2009 State Tournament will be held March 14, 2009

The awards ceremony will be held at the Missouri Theater at 3:00 p.m. on March 14, 2009. You will not be able to get into the theater until 2:00 p.m. Armbands are required to sit on the bottom level, all others to the balcony please. The Missouri Theater is one block north of the MU campus on 3rd Street.

In order to have both the B & C Division awards ceremony together, we have had to move up the awards ceremony in order to facilitate the location. We, therefore, have moved up the competition time in order to be finished in time for the awards ceremony. This is the only change to the schedule. All events have been left in the order they were in. Please check the website often for any updates. |

In order to insure a smooth and timely event, the Elevated Bridges event supervisor is asking that we do impounds for both divisions. This will help facilitate time so the students can do the walk-in event without going back to the homeroom to get the bridge, wait for it to be measured and weighed, and not have to wait in line while others do the same.

Sign up sheets will be made available after the last regional has run and been verified on February 28, 2009. These will be placed on the website home page. It will be on a first come, first served basis. Please fax your sheets to 816-930-2478 or scan and email them to palmiettop@mindspring.com. These must be completed one of these 2 ways in order to have a time stamp on the paperwork for people that want the same time. Phone calls and phone messages will not be accepted. Also, if your event has 2 or 3 teams designated for the time slot, please do not fill in 1st choice as the first team and 2nd choice as the 2nd team. If you cannot get in the time slot as the first team, you will automatically be moved. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choice needs to be different time slots.
